Textbooks

We apologise that we are experiencing a delay in receiving some of  the textbooks. We request your patience and understanding. If you have not paid for textbooks/uniform as yet, please do so.

As from the end of February we will be charging R1 per copy from the textbook. Please send your child with cash.

Uniform

We request that all children adhere to our basic dress code. Bottoms need to be plain either, denim, navy, black, grey, or white. No brown, khaki, beige etc.

They may wear a plain white T-shirt or golf shirt (no exceptions) in the meantime. Only if we are waiting for a uniform order.

Please check that your child is in full school uniform before sending them to school to avoid any unnecessary consequences, such as being sent home to change.

Reports

Reports will be handed out on Thursday,17th  April 2025. The final Term 1 mark will include cycle tests, class tests and the exams. Please let us know if you would like us to forward a copy via email.

Extra Time

If your child is writing Cambridge International exams in the Oct/Nov sitting and they need extra time, we require a motivation from a relevant specialist. This avoids your child being disadvantaged  by the allocated time. Applications need to be submitted by the end of July. If the educational psychologist’s report is more than 2 years old, we need a motivation letter from a specialist. Preferably an Ed. Psych or a psychiatrist.

Updating Information

We request that all parent details be regularly updated, with email addresses and contact details to ensure that you receive all correspondence. We will provide your child with a hard copy of all correspondence if preferred.

Please note that we are missing documents needed for the enrolment forms. You will be emailed individually.

Please forward these documents as a matter of urgency.

School fees

Should school fees not be paid, your child may be suspended. Late payment fees will be charged on overdue accounts.

University Registration

Registrations for universities are open from 1st April. Applications are completed online and need to be finalised by the end of June. Should your child be required to write the NBT’s (National Benchmark Tests) they need to book in advance. The NBT assistance website is www.advantagelearn.com.

Should your child require preparation for the NBT’s please inform the school. The NBT maths is different and is taken from the CAPS, IEB and Cambridge syllabus.
