Dear Parents,
External Exams (A Reminder)
Please note the following:
- Art exam and times for practicals have been handed to the children and emailed out.
- Your child needs to have a copy of the identification used to register for exams and a copy of the Statement of Entry (exam timetable).
- They need to be at the venue a minimum of 30 minutes before the start of the exam.
- Reminder that end times are static, 11:00 for AM, and 15:00 for PM.
- If your child has a clash, they must see Ma’am Luca or me for the new times.
- Children must be in school uniform and have the required stationery in a clear plastic bag.
Lifts to Exam Venues
This must be organised in advance. Send an email to admin@daybridge.co.za OR
phone the school (011 672 1036) or Mr Nathan (066 204 0250). Your child may
also organise directly.
Cost is R90.00 to be dropped off, and R180 to be dropped off and returned to school. Cash Only.
During Exams
Your child needs to attend school on most days they are not writing external exams. Past papers need to be marked and discussed. Mark schemes do not give an accurate reflection of how a paper is marked. They are guidelines for teachers only.
Internal Exams
Internal exams start on Wednesday, 19th November 2025. Timetable to follow. If your child is writing fewer than three external exams, they need to write the internal for the subjects they are not registered for. Those not registered for externals will write all their subjects internally.
Term 4
Please note: There will be no cycle tests conducted in Term 4. School will close at 12:10 on Fridays.
Notice Period
Please note that if your child is leaving our school at the end of 2025, a term’s notice is required in writing.
